Ok, What I thought I'd do was, I'd post something onto this site. I created this site a while ago because I got this domain for free and wanted to at least put something here. I'm not the blogging type so I'm not going to be the most frequent blogger. I merely want to do this to keep the site alive and to maybe attract an audience.

The things I'm interested in are probably typical of todays nerd, here is a short list of some of the things i might write about:
Programming: C(++), Qt, Java, PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS and some others.
Linux: Linux knows me better than anything else.
Anime, Manga & Japan: Daisuki.
Philosophy: Amoralism & Atheism.
Social Phenomena: Being lacking in this area I tend to criticize it allot.
Music: Electronic, Ambient and sometimes Angry sounding songs.

I have become really bored doing the same things for years, nothing has changed in what I do baring a few location changes and different friends passing by. I think I can talk about allot of stuff on this site as a kind of diary, and letting it be read publicly may releive some of my boredom and bring on some drama. I think of my current situation as social rock bottom, I have no really close friends and only a few regular friends. So here goes some things I would never have the capacity to say to another person face to face. Lets hope I can say something interesting or fun.

I've never been really close to anyone and I do really desire to but whenever the possibility comes I can't bear it, I'm sure this is because I just haven't truly liked anyone deeper than looks, but then I rarely talk to girls due to being nervous.

I act as likable as I can without hating myself and having other people hate me but my thoughts and reasons are completely geared to benefit myself. I wonder if it's an effect of not being close to anyone. I like my current stance on life and the ideals that I keep to myself, I think that they are logically correct and can be rationalized easily using basic reasoning.

I argue that all emotions and notions of morality are simply an evolutionary construct that emerged because such behavior produces the most safe and prosperous human society. For example humans could have developed the emotion sadness and displayed the emotion in acts such as crying, the display is simply used to induce a feeling of compassion in other humans so that they would come to help and give support at no cost. The two would then develop a relationship and would not desire to betray each other, trust would grow between them. On a larger scale this will produce a community in a similar situation.

My own goal for life is to simply live as long as possible and to see as much of the future as I can. I believe that the human race will be succeeded by a new species created artificially by ourselves. A self replicating artificial intelligence would quickly redesign and improve itself and ultimately become infinitely intelligent with enough resources. I do not believe that it will desire to exterminate humans however, i can't think of a real reason that our whole civilization would be detrimental to anything the AI desired. An interesting question is what would drive the AI to want to improve itself, at a certain level of intelligence it might not see the reason to keep going, perhaps it will stop improving itself and simply wait for a reason. What would it do in the meantime?

Well I talked a bit about a few topics that I'm interested in, maybe I caught the attention of a few people, maybe someone I know read the post and has something to say. I look forward to any responses.
